My fascination with Biology began at an early age and I have always taken an interest in the animal kingdom. This interest has been developed through my experience raising and taking care of animals. I have raised praying mantises and rats, rescued an orphan baby opossum, and  fostered dogs for my local animal shelter.
While I performed well in high school biology, studying at university has confirmed my desire to understand animal biology in greater detail. I studied Neurophysiology and Molecular Biology at Whitworth University

Lucas was taken into foster care through Ventura County Animal Services on 17 July 2023 and adopted on 23 December 2023 (https://www.vcas.us/viewan-2/?ida=A792486).

Introduction 

Lucas spent 355 days in the pound before foster care. He's a very sweet German Shepherd Dog.
